Welcome! I'm Congresswoman Darlene Hooley of Oregon's Fifth Congressional District.

Like you, I'm outraged at how things are going in Washington, DC.  The Bush Administration and the current Republican leaders in Congress are leading our great country in the wrong direction, and it's time we say enough is enough.

Each day, I am working to fight chronic overspending, the incompetent handling of the war and giveaways to special interests like big oil and pharmaceutical companies at the expense of taxpayers. 

I'm working to do what's right for Oregon by combating meth, fighting for proper equipment for our troops, stopping identity theft, increasing funding for our schools and securing resources for our local communities.

I'm also fighting to make our country safer by securing our borders, implementing the bi-partisan 9/11 Commission's homeland security recommendations, and putting a stop to terrorist financing.

It has been an honor to serve as the representative of the Fifth District, and I look forward to the opportunity to continue working for you.
